You are Worthy Of healing
Culture today tells all people to be their best at all times. Never show your flaws. Never show your blemishes. Never show your stomach rolls. Always strive for society’s version of perfection.
These lies have led to many people believing they are not enough, ugly, unworthy, unloved and so much more. You are not alone if you are one of these people. You are worthy of healing. You are worthy of knowing your true beauty. You are worthy of understanding your value.
When these lies enter your mind it is important to give them a voice. There is a reason they are there and the more they are suppressed the larger they will grow. There is a part of you that needs to be seen and heard, even if it is a part of yourself that you don’t like. Ask yourself:
What am I believing about myself right now?
What situation brought about this thought?
What is the positive truth that combats this thought?
It is important to not shame the thought. Let the thought take up the space it needs and feel the emotions that come with it. After you have done that think through reasons why this thought is not true about you. Say them aloud. I know this might seem funny, but it is important to talk to yourself kindly. You need to hear it even if you don’t believe it. The more you speak positive and kind truth out loud to yourself the more you will start to believe it.

I am enough
I am beautiful
I am worthy
I am compassionate
I am empathic
I am needed and wanted on this earth
I do not have to change my physical appearance in order to deserve love
